Act-On Update: Landing Page Language Parameter

In order to meet the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act(AODA) which equates to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Act-On has released a landing page setting update: language parameter.

The AODA standard requires that landing pages must include the HTML “lang” parameter in the HTML markup. With this new update users will be able to set the “lang” parameter from the page properties section as shown below.

This new setting is left unselected by default and will only provide the “lang” parameter if a language is selected. This selection is specific to each landing page and must be selected on each landing page. This setting is optional but when used will allow you to meet accessibility standards.

For more information, you can read the full release here.
