IBAO 2020 – That’s a Wrap
Last week IBAO kicked off their first virtual conference and we were thrilled to be a part of it. The agenda was full of great speakers and presentations from many different service providers, ranging from major carriers during the CEO Panel to smaller brokers who were part of panels in the different sessions. The variation in experience and viewpoint ensured that there were great takeaways for all attendees.

How Marketing Automation Supports Your Digital Transformation
Some key discussions from the CEO panel included advice to brokers to not focus on what customers want now but will want in the future and to “leap frog expectations” in order to deliver world class experience. As with last year, there was very strong advice about having the right tools to deliver this experience at all steps along the customer journey, and that technology should be part of everyone’s investment budget. Following recognition of the challenges that Brokers overcame this year to support their clients was a charge to think about how easy and useful we can make it to do business with us – a valuable takeaway for us all.
Other themes that surfaced were the Go Paperless initiative that many Brokers, Carriers and supporting partners are driving forward, the ever increasing value of data and the challenges with putting it into action and the importance of associating value with every marketing initiative.
